Salman vs Arijit: Will Rahat be the cat between the two monkeys?
Here's the latest update from the world of Bollywood. We bet you wouldn't want to miss this. Read on for details... The Pakistani singer has recorded a version of Arijit’s song for Sultan
It’s become a game of musical chairs quite literally! Arijit Singh’s public apology to Salman Khan and request to retain his song in Sultan has taken a new dimension (Arijit apologises, pleads with Salman to retain his song in Sultan, May 25).
SpotboyE has found out that Rahat Fateh Ali Khan recorded the same song, sung by Arijit, at composer duo Vishal-Shekhar’s studio last week.
While buzz doing the rounds is that Salman’s (who has also recorded the same song) version will be used in the film instead of Arijit’s, truth is it’s a toss-up between the two singers.
“No one except Adi sir (Aditya Chopra) and Ali Abbas Zafar have heard the song. So, we don’t know which version will be retained,” says a source from YRF Studios, the producer of the film.
You may recall that the Pakistani singer crooned for Sallu earlier for Teri Meri (Bodyguard), which went on to become a chartbuster. So will he be the lucky one again?
As for Salman, we hear, the superstar has recorded all the songs in his voice too and his version of this number will most likely be used as cover.
